The Vice Chancellor, after consultation with relevant faculty, may allow transfer of students from recognized institutions and reputed universities under specific conditions. A student expelled from another institution on disciplinary grounds cannot transfer to AU.

• The transfer student must complete at least 50% of the required credit hours at AU to earn the degree.
• Courses with grade less than "B minus" cannot be transferred and must be retaken at AU.
• If admitted, the student will be informed clearly about transferable courses and any additional required courses.
• The student must have a minimum CGPA of 2.5 to be considered for transfer.
• The final decision is taken by the Vice Chancellor.
