AUMC Library
Air University Multan Campus Library was established in April 2011. The library aims to enrich learning, teaching, and research programs of the University by providing timely access to high-quality scholarly information and learning material in a variety of formats. With this mission in mind, the library aims to be a premier provider of knowledge-based information resources and user-focused services. The library has a print collection of more than 5507 volumes, about 04 journals/magazines/digest/ serial publications and 04 newspapers are on subscription list. Campus-wide access to the electronic catalogue (OPAC) of the library books & electronic databases are available through the HECs National Digital Library Program.

AU OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue)
AU OPAC is the Online Public Access Catalogue of Air University Multan Campus Library. It is a web-based system that allows students, faculty, and researchers to search and access information about the libraryโs collection.
Through AU OPAC, users can:
- ๐ Search for books by title, author, subject, or keywords
- ๐ Check the availability status of books
- ๐ View detailed bibliographic information
- ๐ท Locate call numbers and shelf locations
- ๐ป Access electronic resources (where available)
The OPAC provides campus-wide access and helps users quickly find relevant learning and research materials, supporting the academic and research activities of the University.
Library Services
All registered users of library are entitled to borrow books and items from lending section. Lending privileges differ for various categories of membership. Renewal and reservation services are also available for the same. Users may ask queries from the help desk/reference desk or via telephone 92-61-4508500 (ext: 514) or through E-Mail: khalida.siddiqi@aumc.edu.pk Searching Assistance For items not located on the shelf or easily accessible in the catalog, inquiry can be made at the circulation desk where assistance will be provided. Current Awareness Service (CAS)
Through Fresh Arrivals information about new additions to the collection is regularly send to all members via e-mail. New additions remain on New Arrivalโs Shelf for a week before sending to their relevant sections. Press Clippings containing news about higher education is also circulated through e-mail. Reprographic Service Photocopy service is also available but only where copy right rules permit. Scope of this service is limited to library reference material. Inter Library Loan (ILL)Material (including books, magazine/journal articles or newspaper articles) not owned by AUCL can be borrowed from any other Pakistani library. Initially, this service is limited to some local university libraries only.
This service is available to all AUMC library members at no charge. Please first verify the unavailability of the required material in AUMC Library collection by checking library catalog. For any such material, request can be made through a request at circulation desk. The request is sent to other libraries through e-mail or via telephone. When request is met the external library sends the original item or a photocopy of it. It can take 3 weeks or more to get the required item. Online Searching One terminal is dedicated to online database searching.
