NEED & MERIT BASED FINANCIAL AID SCHEMES

In every Fall semester, Air University invites applications from fresh entrants for financial grants through the admission portal. The Financial Aid Office (FAO) evaluates applications and prepares a list of deserving students.

Available Financial Aid Categories

Procedure to Apply

  • Apply online with admission form.
  • Submit required documents within 15 days of semester start.
  • Late applicants can apply through Registrar within 15 days.
  • Spring students can apply in next Fall semester.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Only open merit students are eligible.
  • Minimum CGPA 2.0 required for continuation.
  • Only one need-based grant allowed.
  • Disciplinary violations lead to disqualification.
  • Ehsaas, PEEF, and HEC grants follow respective criteria.
  • PAF wards get 25% tuition fee rebate.
  • AU employees get 50% fee concession (conditions apply).

Multan Campus Incentive (IFG)

Students at AU Multan Campus may receive additional tuition fee incentives based on available funds.

HEC Employee Ward Discount

Children of HEC employees receive 50% tuition fee concession for the full degree program (subject to verification each semester).

HEC Need-Based Scholarships

HEC Need-Based Scholarships are offered to deserving students, including full tuition fee and a monthly stipend of Rs. 6000/-.

AU Need-Based Financial Grant

AU provides financial assistance ranging from 25% to 50% tuition fee reduction for needy students.

MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS POLICY

Undergraduate Students

  • 1st Position: Rs. 25,000
  • 2nd Position: Rs. 20,000
  • 3rd Position: Rs. 15,000
  • SGPA 4.0 bonus: Rs. 5,000

Eligibility

  • Minimum SGPA 3.5
  • Full-time enrollment required
  • No summer eligibility
  • No disciplinary record

Postgraduate Students

  • 1st Position: Rs. 25,000
  • 2nd Position: Rs. 20,000
  • 3rd Position: Rs. 15,000

Eligibility

  • Minimum SGPA 3.75
  • Applies to first two semesters only
